Meal: Soja Wraps

Green Lovers, become vegetarian is one of the things that I'm trying to change in my life and in the life of my friends and family. Although I started to eat more vegetables, fruits and seeds, I hate the need that I (still) have to eat meat after some days. It's a dificult change when you live with non-vegetarian people.
Today the lunch was two beautiful and delicious soja wraps with a light curry flavor and some sesame seeds. Then I added some fresh cheese, some rock and a few strawberries to give some sweet to the plate. I found it very tasty and light, perfect for a summer meal. Hope you enjoyed the result!

Breakfast: Persimmon

Green Lovers,  the breakfast is our most important meal of the day so you need to be sure that you have an healthy one.
I'm absolutely in love with natural yogurt and all the mixes we can do with it, specially at breakfast: it's quick to prepare and it's a perfect match between a variety of fruits, seeds, cereals, among other things. You can choose to use soja yogurt or even a natural yogurt (non sweetened) and the result will be delicious anyway.
This breakfast I had it's all about making good use of seasonal fruits like persimmon. I can only eat this marvellous fruit during summertime so I really make sure that I won't miss it, at least once a year. That being said I ate some persimmons with natural yogurt, sesame seeds and banana. It was quite delicious!! Take a look.

Natural Juice: Beetroot

Green Lovers, I decided to make a natural juice with beetroot. Personaly I'm not a big fan of this root because of its strong flavor that reminds me constantly of soil, although I try to include it frequently in my meals. Sometimes I use raw beetroot in salads or juices, sometimes I use cooked beetroot as side-dish.
The reason why I still eat beetroot is because of all the healthy benefits it provides: it prevents anemia, it strengthens our immune system and it is still used as a diuretic to help the combat of water retention.
Once I like the beetroot juice really fresh, I used frozen beetroot that turn the juice a little bit thicker, but you can always add some water.
Here's the result, very reddish and appealling.
